Our Vision

Kfar Vradim as a unique model of optimal aging

The Gil HaZahav Association of Kfar Vradim works to create a unique model of "optimal aging", in which the third age is a stage of development. The model combines a wide range of activity in culture and leisure, security, involvement, partnership and contribution to the senior community, together with the whole Kfar Vradim community and with a special emphasis on cooperation with the village's school students.

Goals and objectives

  1. 1Rejuvenating the association and widening the community to everyone aged 60 and over.
  2. 2Increasing the number of membership card holders, alongside the number of quality businesses offering them discounts.
  3. 3Setting up and running work teams by field, and forming action plans and comprehensive activity for the community.
  4. 4Obtaining approvals for support and donations, and passing the Registrar of Associations' review for lasting compliance.
  5. 5Initiating and carrying out unique creative projects, in the community and regionally and nationally.

Continuing our work and setting out on a challenging, meaningful path

In light of the vision and goals of the Gil HaZahav Association, the initiative to set up work teams was born, out of deep faith in the power of an active, caring and connecting community.

We, the senior citizens, wish to be partners in doing, initiating and leading a good, safe and meaningful quality of life in older age. Working in teams allows focused and efficient work, and encourages personal initiative and influence.

Each team works in its own field, and together they form one network of support, responsibility and mutual commitment. We are glad to share the make-up of the work teams and their areas of activity with the whole community, and we call on all the village's third-age community to take part and take initiative for the benefit of the village's senior residents.

The association's management welcomes the Golden Club team, which has joined the association. We take this opportunity to thank the new and long-standing members of the community who have joined, and all the business owners in the village and the area who give discounts to holders of a Gil HaZahav membership card.

Good luck to us all!
